random days...

Well right now i'm in fairly nice ...ok very nice house in Abotsford by myself... because the very nice family i'm staying with are all gone right now... i'm in abotsford because i get to hang out with some of my good friends from Redding Californa, they're doing worship at a conference here, so i'll be chillen with them... but i'm early so i hooked up with a buddy that i met in Ottawa, which then led me to be staying at his friends house which is amazing, and so i'm drinking green tea, and relaxing on this rainy day. hopefully i'll be running into an unexpected friend in the next week sometime...Crystal...thats you.... i emailed you.... but yeah it's quite good except for my silly cold/throat pain.... it's only been like two days and they have been wonderful so i can only imagine how the rest will turn out. upon my return home... they're shall much fun with Kayle and Daniel... and then ...yes...another wedding... mememememememememememememememe.... my cd was just skipping and thats what it sounded like.... annouying...slightly.... um.... yeah wedding for the sister and Heath... should be good .....but hopefully i get a chance to update before then... um.... yeah my blog format... is messed... i'm sure it's simple... but really i'm having some problems...Kayle when you come to red deer... you are the designated fix Bryan's blog person.... or maybe help get a myspace to put my tunes on.... oh yeah i played show with a band last week... it was fun... they learned six of my tunes in like an hour and a half..... not that my tunes are that easy... they were just that good./.. anyway have a great day... i know i will...

mud + flip flops = no good

Well the last few days have been interesting, i'll tell you about one of the highlights... but just one since it's so late in the p.m. So here in Alberta, around this time of year we have a tendancy to have terrific storms.... not just little rain clouds, but good storms with lots and lots of thunder and lightening, sometimes theirs hail, which is painful, but anyway... so the other night there was some of the best lightening that i've ever seen. So my friend Kalie and I decided to pretend we were storm chasers and follow the lighting, we went for awhile on the highway and then turned off onto a side road to see if we could find a good view, except this storm produced a fair amount of rain along with the lightening, gravel/dirt roads get a little slippery, control is minimal.... so to make the long story not quite as long, we got stuck, not quite into the ditch, but enough to know that if we tried anyharder to get out on our own, the car and us would be a good ways down the embankment.... alright so now we're in the mud, the mud where you sink in when you step... thus flip flop sandles, do not work so well, she had nice swade boots or something on. so we went barefoot and hiked the mile back to the highway to figure out where we were to call someone to pick us up. eventually they came, in there good old 4x4 and hauled us in reverse up the hill.... yeah !!! we dont have to spend the night in the car in the ditch.... anyway so the lesson learned.... well actually i knew it but i wasn't that smart, if you start feeling a little slide in the mud, or for those of you have never but may one day drive on snow or ice the absolute worst thing to do is touch the brakes! but the lightening was sweet. plus it was a pretty fun adventure, no critical injuries, well actually none at all, except maybe Kalie had a cut on her foot from walking barefoot..... um.... the end..... of time..... well actually the day.... for me at least

mmmm..... Canada...

so now that i've been re-experiencing Canada for a little bit, i figured i should maybe write about it. I thouroughly enjoy travelling, it is by far one of my favourite things to do, but it is always a nice feeling to come back home.My drive home from Californa was quite wonderul actually, the extra company for most of it helped alot, plus we got to hang out with some amazing people once again at the halfway marker. They fed me something called an Avacado shake... which to the majority of people, sounds nasty, but mmmm... it was delicious!!! I got home just intime to see some awesome storms and downpours.. i love storms... it's a beautiful sunny day, and then all of the sudden, you see it.... deep in the distance.... the darkness rolls in.... and then.... it rains and thunders and lightenings... and bliss!! luckily i didn't make it home in time to have to help my Dad and brother dig out some trenches in my front yard for all the rain to escape while getting pounded with hail..... but the storms i saw were wonderful. plus here in Canada for the most part it almost always gets cold enough at night to enjoy my hot tub outside. mmmm for example last night... a nice mist of rain.... and me.... enjoying my hot tub.....with a big smile on my face. So we're getting close to potentially having an album.... seriously i'm barely even lieing at all... It as been a fun journy i just never knew what it all entailed... so excitement is brewing as i can feel the final stretch approaching... now that final stretch still could take a few months... i'm not preticting a release date anymore... but i can feel it..... anyway there you have it... i bet you can almost smell Canada... oh yeah i saw the northen lights the other day quite clear....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......lights....... in the northern.................

Departure date.....

Well today is the last day of my Californa adventure, the plan is to depart in the wee hours of tomorrow morning, I get to drive some of my friends to Montana so that'll be a nice drive that i dont have to do by myself... I really do enjoy driving by myself actually, you can do whatever you want... be as loud or as quite as you like, listen to whatever music you like, except you have to drive.... but sometimes it's nice to be forced to be by yourself, but i'll have enough of that from Montana to home... so From Cali to Montana.. it'll be very welcomed company.... My stay here has been quite wonderful... some days of excitement... some days of relaxing... many new friends... in the end probably not enough sun... however it's still summer in Canada so i guess that'll have to do... besides it's way to hot here... I cant wait to have to wear a sweater in the evening.... I for some reason... really enjoy not cold but cool evenings... the ones where you can wear a sweater and be perfectly comfortable....mmmmmm... i feel Jesus all over that.....anyway i should go i gotta check on a small child i'm watching.... well she's sleeping so it's not hard... but still...

Well i'm still here, in good old Redding, ok seriously i'm going to leave soon... so my car was broken down for awhile, and well the average heat here lately has been about 45 degrees celcius, or like 115 to 120 fairinheit... which is ridiculous, oh and my car doesn't have air conditioning... so while it was down and out i got rides... from people who live here mostly... so mostly they all had air conditioning, so there was no hurry in my mind to get it fixed... turns out it was only the battery all along... which was quite a wonderful discovery... much cheaper than many other things it could've been... i guess the heat causes both batteries and starters go bad all the time... thats' what the auto parts guy was saying at least.... ok ok so now i have transportation home.... i'm staying for a youth conference that starts tomorrow...till friday... then shortly after that i'm pretty sure i'll be out.... it has been quite the experiene... hot... would define it quite well... but enjoyable none the less.... i think i might see if some people want to go to the lake today... it's definatly warm enough... strangly enough i dont really have a tan... it's almost to hot to spend time outside usually... anyway check ya later...

which way's home?...

Ok ok North... i'm pretty sure i just go North for about 20 billion hours... then maybe east a bit and....voala (doubt thats how you spell that one) i'm home... The school is now over... and all my new friends are on there way home to differnt parts of the world...well some of them live here so i guess they'll more or less just stay here... but i'll be gone... pretty soon. The exact date of departure is still up in the air a little bit... I quite enjoy not having an exact date to be home... it takes any stress of the journey off.. so thats a good thing.... There were many cool people here... Jonny from Scotland... what can i say any guy who's ever watched braveheart loves a good scottish accent. A few fellow Canadians... always a good thing... some really talented people... even one girl who's singing made me feel like i was going to jump out of my skin.... in a good way... and many many others of whom there presences i enjoyed thouroughly. When i first started doing random travels.. i didn't really like the idea of meeting and getting to know people for a very short period of time when chances are i'll see very few if any of them ever again. But then afterwards when i think back to my trips... i do remember places and buildings and scenery, but the most enjoyable memories are always of the random people that i meet along the way... So here's to those randome people i meet... i'm glad i've met you.... I am craving running right now... this very odd because i also am quite tired... and there's no way i'll go because even though it's like 11 pm... it's still hot as hell outside.... running would be not one of those real smart things to do. but none the less for some reason i feel it would be enjoyable... or maybe just chillin outside and looking at the stars... that seems more plausable...but still it will not happen... more than likely i will be in bed very shortly...ummmm actually more then very shortly...or less...huh...zzzzzzzzzzz
